Sophie Browne of Sophie’s Baked Delights was guest speaker at the June Fosse Manor Ladies Luncheon Club, launching her new “virtual bakery” of bake to order cakes, puddings, tarts and treats. Following the talk there was a tasting where the M’Hencha was deemed unusual and the Apple and Olive oil cake was a firm favourite. First prize in the raffle in support of Kate’s Home Nursing of Stow on the Wold of a cake baked to order was won by Mrs L Hiatt.
